“I enthusiastically endorse Council Member Palmisano for re-election to the Minneapolis City Council. She is extremely effective at governance and knows how to advance the structural change our city needs so it works better for all of us. She is responsive to her constituents and works hard for us every day. “

Greg Hestness

Former U of M Police Chief of Police & Minneapolis Police Assistant Chief

“In my professional life, I often worked with members of the city council. Some want to get the job and some, like Linea, want to do the job. Linea's experience, intellect, work ethic, and civility are what our city needs now more than ever.”

Kristine Schaefer

Ward 13 Resident

“As a recent addition to the Linden Hills community, it was vital for me to make the best choice for a City Council representative. My support goes to Linea--she embodies the qualities of a true public servant. Linea is a pragmatic progressive, a trusted advocate who cultivates relationships within the council, city hall, and the community. These relationships empower her to champion her constituents' needs and concerns effectively.”

Jan Unstad

Ward 13 Resident

“A few years ago I emailed Linea, unsolicited, to tell her of my background serving on the state police licensing board and expressing my opinions on city proposals that were being considered. She reached out, sat down with me and listened respectfully, with interest and questions, and in the spirit of learning. I haven't forgotten how much I appreciate having my elected official respect my experience and be willing to listen. ”

Aroti Bayman

Ward 13 Resident

“We have lived on Abbott Ave South, in Ward 13, for fifty-seven years. We are advocating for the reelection of Linea Palmisano as our City Council representative. Linea would use her skills and experience to help solve problems, such as public safety/ crime. She opposed attempts to defund the police force, and sided with local residents who want the Third Precinct to be rebuilt ASAP, on the original site. Linea sees the need to include crisis responders and social workers in police response teams I believe she is the only candidate with the experience and relationships needed to keep passing legislation that will have a beneficial impact on our community.”

Amy Jo and Tim Hyde

Ward 13 Resident

“We are voting for Linea because of her leadership and experience on the City Council. And, as residents of Bryant Avenue, we love our new street!
